Casa de Miedo is an integrated humanities and physics project that has been an ongoing tradition in The Co-Op. In this project, our team merges to transform classrooms and hallways into a haunted house filled with different scenes. There were four to five students per small group assigned to a section of the school to turn that space into their desired setting. When decided on a setting as a group, each student was directed to create a scary story that had to involve their scene setting as the setting for their story. Each student's final story was showcased in a classroom for ¨Behind the Scenes¨ on the day of exhibition. The purpose of the ¨Behind the Scenes¨ room was for the people who walked through the Casa de Miedo to be able to understand our process and to identify certain portions of our scenes that were involved in our stories. It was a stressful journey, yet was extremely satisfying to know that what we had done turned out to be a success.
